Ingredients for Paneer Methi:
Paneer - 200 gm
Grated tomato - 2two
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Refined oil - 3 tbsp
Methi (Fenugreek leaves) - 500 gm
Sliced & slit ginger - one piece
Salt as per requirement
Turmeric - one tsp
Coriander powder - one tsp
How to prepare Paneer Methi:
Step 1) Roughly slice methi into a big bowl & rinse this in running water for some minutes until this gets clean. Put the vessel beside for a while. Now, slice the paneer in cubes into a small vessel & keep it beside too!
Step 2) Then, place a kadhai over a moderate flame & heat oil into it. As the oil is sufficiently hot, have cumin seeds into it & allow them to splutter for some seconds & swiftly have ginger Julians into it. Now, add red chili powder, salt alongside turmeric powder into the kadhai & saute for a while.
Step 3) Now, have paneer cubes into the kadhai & lightly stir to combine the masalas using paneer cubes. Cook the paneer for around two to three mins. & then have sliced methi into the kadhai. Stir it to mix finely methi with the spices and paneer cubes, & double close that lid. Cook for around five to seven mins. Over a moderate flame.
Step 4) Then, open the lid of this kadhai & have the grated tomatoes into it alongside coriander powder and garam masala powder or dhaniya masala, & stir it lightly. Cook this paneer methi in tomato for about five mins.
Step 5) So now, your paneer methi is ready, turn off the burner & transfer to the bowl. Have hot with chapati or also with the toasted bread. Have a relishing experience.
