This is one of the super starter of all time which is super crispy from outside, succulent from inside and masaledar to the cor. Achaari Paneer Tikka is a lip-smacking dish made with the paneer cubes which are marinated with the chatpata curd mixture and various other spices, then cooked on tava. Here, just masala of mango pickle has been used not the mango pieces.
Ingredients Required to make Achaari Paneer Tikka
- Paneer - Cut into 30 cubes pieces of 2 inches
- Mango Pickle - 1 ½ Tbsp
- Coriander Seeds (Dhania) - 2 Tsp
- Fenugreek Seeds (Methi dana) - ½ tsp
- Kalonji (Nigella Seeds) - 1 Tsp
- Thick Curds - 1 Cup
- Haldi (Turmeric Powder) - ¼ tsp
- Chilli Powder - ½ Tsp
- Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
- Garam Masala - ½ tsp
- Salt - To Taste
- Oil - 2 Tbsp
For Serving
- Lemon Wedges, Onion Slices, green chutney
The Process of making Achari Paneer Tikka
1) Heat a non-stick pan and add methi seeds, coriander seeds, nigella seeds. Dry Roast them for around 2 minutes on a medium flame.
2) Once done, let it cool and make a fine powder after blending it on khalbatta.
3) In a bowl, add mango pickle, curd, turmeric powder, prepared powder, chilli powder, garam masala, Ginger-Garlic Paste and salt. Mix all of them well.
4) Then add Paneer cubes in the mixture and marinate them well with the mixture. Then leave it aside for 30 minutes.
5) Then take a skewer and insert paneer pieces in intervals. Can add 3 - 4 paneer pieces.
6) Repeat the similar steps with the remaining stuff.
7) Take a non-stick tawa and heat little oil. Put prepared skewer on it and cook from each side until they turn golden brown in colour.
8) Cook all other skewers the same way.
9) Your Achari Paneer Tikka is ready. Serve hot with slices of onion, green chutney and lemon wedges.
